Penfield is an outdoor clothing brand that was established in Hudson, Massachusetts. Founded in 1975 by Harvey Gross, a New England native, the company has built a reputation for making their iconic down-filled jackets, fleeces and outerwear.

From the very first collection (four key outerwear styles, all made from innovative rip-stop nylon fabric and insulated with down), Penfield was at the forefront of the New England aesthetic blend of technical fabrics and Ivy League Menswear staples.
